To further enhance this strength, the committee recommended conducting an in-depth curriculum analysis to ensure alignment with quality standards, responsiveness to societal needs, and positive impact on the university’s future image.
Areas identified for further development include risks associated with declining student enrollment, program redundancy, increased acquisition of external research funding, and strengthened integration of research with academic services and industry collaboration.
In addition, the committee provided several developmental recommendations, such as accelerating policy initiatives for curriculum development to meet the needs of future learners, formulating integrated research strategies to enhance teaching and learning while generating revenue, and advancing the use of Big Data/AI for clear and systematic monitoring and analysis across both academic and support units. The committee also emphasized integrating cultural and artistic missions with other core missions, particularly those that reinforce the university’s identity.
Furthermore, the committee recommended establishing international-quality assessment standards covering all operational units, implementing Gap Analysis and Benchmarking across all faculties, and formulating strategic directions and a long-term Roadmap towards achieving recognition as a Global Top Tech University within the next five years.
