Architecture students showcase creative design works.

Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), through students from the Faculty of Architecture and Design, organized the “ACT ARCH AND DESIGN” exhibition—an annual showcase of senior projects and theses for the 2024 academic year. The event took place on April 24–25, 2025, at Gateway at Bang Sue shopping center. The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr.Kingkarn Phichakkhana, Assistant to the President, who stated that the exhibition highlights the professional skills and creativity of students from three disciplines: Industrial Product Design, Packaging and Printing Design, and Architecture. More than 40 works were exhibited, each reflecting the integration of classroom knowledge and practical experience. The exhibition also demonstrated the students’ readiness to enter the workforce with quality and competence.

Ms. Chatchada Sinbuaphong, student exhibition chair, shared that this year’s thesis and senior project exhibition was held under the theme “POP ART”—an art movement from the 20th century known for its use of vibrant colors, simplicity, and inspiration from popular culture. The concept reflects the playful and creative works of 4th- and 5th-year architecture and design students.

Mr. Krittin Jangsanit, a student exhibitor, presented his project on developing a dry food waste disposal cabinet for households. Motivated by environmental and hygiene concerns, he designed a mobile cabinet that integrates a sink and food waste processor. The design separates the unit into an upper sink area and a lower compartment for collecting processed waste, allowing for easy removal and reuse. His project combines real-world environmental issues with classroom knowledge to create a practical solution for everyday use.
