On June 19 – 20, 2024, Digital Interdisciplinary and Robotics Institute, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) organized an intelligent agricultural technology training program for urban societies. The course, titled ‘Designing Automated Production Processes with Robots Using Virtual Simulation Programs,’ aimed to enhance knowledge in developing control systems and applying energy management for smart greenhouses or smart buildings using IIOT systems. The participants will receive both theoretical and practical knowledge on topics such as Introduction to IoT and IIOT, M2M (Machine to Machine) technology and IoT (Internet of Things), using Modbus Protocol for communication with measuring instruments, reading values from memory and variables for PLC, and creating remote control systems, among others. The event was honored by speakers from E-Power Service Co., Ltd. and attracted interest from participants including Advanced Macro Biotech Co., Ltd., the Industrial Welding Training Center Co., Ltd., Santivana Eco Community, Mega Power Co., Ltd., King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Wat Khema Phirat School, at Digital Interdisciplinary and Robot Institute, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, North Bangkok Campus.
