RMUTP Executives Discuss Collaboration with Lectra Pte Ltd, Singapore, and Kijmichi Trading Co., Ltd. to Equip Students with Skills for Thailand’s Apparel and Garment Industry
The International Affairs Division, Policy and Planning Office, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), welcomed executives from Lectra Pte Ltd, Republic of Singapore, represented by Kijmichi Trading Co., Ltd.The visiting team included Mr. Thirasak Setthapanee, Regional Product Manager, and Ms.Sithorn Udomkitpaiboon, Regional Solution Sales Manager, Kijmichi Trading Co., Ltd.
The discussion focused on developing student skills to meet the needs of Thailand’s apparel and garment industry, which is currently facing a severe shortage of skilled labor. The initiative aims to enhance graduate employabilityandsupply highly skilled workforce to the national textile and fashion sectors.
RMUTP’s leadership, including Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President; Asst. Prof. Dr.Prin Boonkanit, Vice President; Asst. Prof. Sattha Khaengpenkhae, Assistant to the President for Special Affairs; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nerisa Chaisupamangkollarp, Assistant to the President for Corporate Communication and International Affairs, along with executives and faculty members from the Faculty of Industrial Textiles and Fashion Designand theFaculty of Home Economics Technology, participated in the meeting. The meeting was held on October 2, 2025, at Rapheephat conference room, 3rd Floor, Rapeepatthanasak Building, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Thewet campus.
