Elevating “Dusit” into a City of Cultural Heritage Learning RMUTP joins hands with Dusit District and higher education networks to empower communities and transform cultural heritage into a sustainable learning hub

Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) has signed a memorandum of understanding with government agencies and academic institutions to promote quality and continuous education. Most recently, Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul President of RMUTP, signed an MoU to advance Dusit District, Bangkok, into a city of cultural heritage learning.

The collaboration was made with four key partners: Mr.Thianchai Wongsuwan, Director of Dusit District, Prof. Dr.Phitak Chancharoen, President of Suan Dusit University; Assoc. Prof. Dr.Arunee Heng Yosmak,Vice President of Navamindradhiraj University; and Assoc.Prof.Dr.Chutikarn Sriviboon,President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

The signing ceremony took place at Suan Dusit University on August 25, 2025, with Asst. Prof. Sattha Khaengpenkhae, Assistant to the President for Special Affairs, coordinating and attending the event.

The collaboration aims to transform Dusit District, Bangkok, into a city of cultural heritage learning by preserving its unique identity and ensuring community sustainability. Known for its architecture, multicultural way of life, and rich traditions, the area will be developed through an integrated approach that highlights history, architecture, arts, cuisine, local wisdom, and lifestyle. Technology and innovation will also play a key role in conserving, revitalizing, and making cultural heritage more accessible to all.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment across sectors to safeguard heritage and position Dusit as a model city for sustainable cultural learning.
