Faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Organizes Motorcycle Inspection Service Activity

On June 20, 2025, the Automotive Engineering Program, Faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, in collaboration with Valvoline (Thailand) Co., Ltd., organized a project to enhance skills in vehicle maintenance and understanding of engine lubricant types.

The event was honored by the presence of Asst.Prof. Dr.Weerayuth Khunrattanasiri, Assistant Dean for Administration, Faculty of Engineering, who presided over the opening ceremony. The objective of the project was to enhance students’ practical skills in automotive maintenance, foster expertise in their professional field, and instill a sense of giving and social responsibility among students. The activity took place at the Faculty of Engineering, North Bangkok Campus.

The event featured an informative lecture on engine lubricants for both manual and automatic transmissions. Additionally, a scholarship award ceremony was held for ten selected vocational certificate (Vocational Certificate Level) students in the Automotive Program. Each recipient received a scholarship of 5,000 baht for one semester, generously sponsored by Valvoline (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The scholarship recipients were: Mr. Patipan Kranlek, Mr. Weerawong Pruekpannasant, Mr. Chaiyawut Boonrod, Mr. Pravee Charoensuk, Mr. Naruesorn Wongcharoenpanich, Mr. Phiphat Tesa, Mr. Weerawit Soijit, Mr. Natthaphong Suearuek, Ms. Onpriya Thongdee, and Mr. Teerasak Khongklai.

In the afternoon, the event offered motorcycle inspection services for bikes under 160 cc, covering 16 check-up items. Services included engine oil changes, maintenance of the engine system, braking system, and drivetrain system, as well as consultation services. These were provided by vocational certificate students in the Automotive Program, Faculty of Engineering, to the general public in front of the Faculty of Engineering building.
