Institute of Research and Development of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon Participates in the Screening Program for University Business Incubation Entrepreneurs.

The Business Incubation Center (UBI) under the Institute of Research and Development at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chantana Papattha, Deputy Director of Institute of Research and Development, brought student entrepreneurs from three faculties to participate in the business incubation process. This was part of the “Screening Program for University Business Incubation Entrepreneurs (UBI – Round 0 Month) of the Lower Central Region Higher Education Network for Fiscal Years 2025–2026.”

The presentation to the committee from the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), took place on January 13, 2025, at Thian Thale Room 2 (BRI–206), BRI Building, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (Bang Khun Thian), Bangkok.

A total of eight student entrepreneur teams participated in the business incubation program, consisting of four teams in the Pre-Incubation level and four teams in the Startup Incubation level:

Pre-Incubation Teams:

  1. Green & Grains – Health bread products made from asparagus (Faculty of Business Administration).
  2. Your Girl – Perfume products under the “Klinjan” brand (Faculty of Business Administration).
  3. Machine – Masks and balaclava hats (Faculty of Business Administration).
  4. Bubble Bites – Tablet shampoo products (Faculty of Business Administration).

Startup Incubation Teams:

  1. Fashion Rental & Upcycling / VEGA – Dress rental and upcycling shop (Faculty of Business Administration).
  2. Natural Care – Hand gel made from pomelo peel and aromatic coconut water (Faculty of Business Administration).
  3. Soulside – Bag products (Faculty of Architecture and Design).
  4. Yung Mo – Art toy products (Faculty of Science and Technology).

The program was supported by advisors with expertise in various fields:

  • Associate Professor Dr. Wanwimol Naktad – Advisor on cost analysis and accounting.
  • Dr. Nopadon Detprasert – Advisor on business plan development.
  • Associate Professor Dr. Piyapong Pankaew – Advisor on materials science and technology.

The Yung Mo team (Art Toy products) received 200,000 THB in funding as a Startup Company. Meanwhile, six teams were upgraded to Pre-Incubation to continue business development:

  1. Green & Grains (Health bread).
  2. Your Girl (Perfume).
  3. Bubble Bites (Shampoo tablets).
  4. Fashion Rental & Upcycling / VEGA (Dress rental).
  5. Natural Care (Hand gel).
  6. Soulside (Bags).
