General His Serene Highness Prince Chalermsuk Yukol presided over the opening ceremony of the Monument Plaza of His Royal Highness Prince Rabi of Ratchaburi (Krom Luang Ratchaburi Direkrit) on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of His Royal Birth, and graciously allowed the public to pay their respects.


General His Serene Highness Prince Chalermsuk Yukol graciously presided over the opening ceremony of the Monument Plaza of His Royal Highness Prince Rabi of Ratchaburi (Krom Luang Ratchaburi Direkrit). The ceremony was attended by Lieutenant General Chainarong Kitrungrojcharoen, Vice President of the University Council, acting on behalf of the President of the University Council of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, together with Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, members of the Rapeepat Royal Family, university executives, faculty members, staff, and students, who welcomed His Serene Highness at the monument plaza on October 6, 2025.
Lieutenant General Chainarong Kitrungrojcharoen,, Vice President of the University Council, acting on behalf of the President of the Council, delivered a speech stating, “On behalf of the University Council of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, we are profoundly grateful for His Serene Highness’s gracious presence in presiding over the opening of the Monument Plaza of His Royal Highness Prince Rabi of Ratchaburi (Krom Luang Ratchaburi Direkrit) and inaugurating the Royal Celebration Project in honor of His Majesty King Vajiravudh (King Rama VI) and Her Royal Highness Princess Petcharat Rajasuda Sirisopaphannawadee. This occasion is a great honor for Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon and a mark of immense royal benevolence toward the university’s administrators, faculty, staff, and students.”


Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul,President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), stated that:
“On the auspicious occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of His Royal Highness Prince Rabi Bhadanasakdi, the Prince of Ratchaburi Direkrit (October 21, 2024), RMUTP, in collaboration with the Rapeepat Royal Family, has organized a series of commemorative activities throughout 2025. The university has also undertaken the renovation of the existing monument courtyard to create a new design, reorienting the monument to face Samsen Road, improving the surrounding landscape, and constructing a new university gate as a memorial for this significant occasion. The project began in 2023 and was completed in January 2025.”
The renovation and official opening of the monument courtyard, presided over by General His Serene Highness Prince Chalermsuk Yukol, not only paid tribute to the “Father of Thai Law”, but also served as a significant landmark that enhances the beauty and dignity of the RMUTP campus. It also provides an opportunity for alumni, students, and the public to pay their respects, seek blessings, and commemorate His Royal Highness’s benevolence for generations to come.
Later, General His Serene Highness Prince Chalermsuk Yukol proceeded to the Ratchaburi Direkrit Building, where His Serene Highness presided over the opening ceremony of two exhibitions — “Maha Dheeraraja Phiphawan: Rapeepat Legal Legacy”, held in honor of King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) on the 100th day of His Majesty’s passing, and “Sirisosapakhesin: The Artistic Heritage of Her Royal Highness Princess Petcharat Rajasuda Sirisopaphannawadee”, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Her Royal Highness’s birth. His Serene Highness also graciously viewed the exhibitions afterward. Subsequently, His Serene Highness proceeded to D-Hall Auditorium, where His Serene Highness lit candles and incense as a gesture of reverence before the portrait of Her Royal Highness Princess Petcharat Rajasuda Sirisopaphannawadee, on the occasion of Her Royal Highness’s centennial birth anniversary. On this occasion, His Serene Highness presented a commemorative gift to Associate Professor Dr. Chatchapol Chaiporn, Deputy Secretary-General of the King Vajiravudh Memorial Foundation under Royal Patronage, and a member of the Petcharat–Suwattana Foundation, who had graciously delivered a special lecture titled “The Royal Conduct and Aesthetic Preferences in Architecture of Her Royal Highness Princess Petcharat Rajasuda Sirisopaphannawadee.”
