Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) collaborates with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Office of the Market to integrate knowledge for the development of markets in Bangkok.

“On May 8, 2566, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) signed a memorandum of understanding on academic cooperation with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Office of the Market. The agreement aims to develop and set guidelines for market improvements. President of RMUTP, signed the memorandum together with Mr. Supaphiphat Balnalang, the Director of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Office of the Market. Executives from both entities attended the signing ceremony held at the RMUTP President’s Conference Room.
President mentioned that this collaboration signifies the beginning of mutual work. Both organizations will coordinate to elevate the quality of Bangkok’s markets and make them more contemporary. This initiative involves the joint efforts of faculty members, researchers, and students from nine faculties. The collaborative efforts will focus on conducting surveys and collecting data regarding entrepreneurs’ needs for market development. The project will commence at the Thewarat Market, an area close to the university. The initiative will also address waste management systems,

wastewater treatment, energy conservation, and sustainable market development. Technology and innovation will play a significant role in enhancing market management efficiency and modernizing market images. Additionally, the collaboration aims to promote RMUTP students’ work to the public, attracting customers to the markets.
President emphasized that this collaborative effort is not only aimed at advancing market development but also at providing students with the opportunity to learn from real-world experiences. Upon completion, students will gain invaluable skills and experiences to utilize in their future careers.”
