Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon Signs MOU with Leading Fire Protection Technology Companies from China and Thailand
Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), represented by Asst. Prof. Dr.Krit Jedwanna, Vice President, participated in the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Green Energy Equity Investment Co., Ltd. (GEEI) from the People’s Republic of China, represented by its Chairman, Dr.Lin Huan Ku, and Fire Empowerment Co., Ltd. (FEP) from Thailand, represented by its Thai partner, Ms.Apichaya Thepsothorn. The ceremony took place at Rapheephat conference room, 3rd Floor, Rapeepatthanasak Building, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Thewet campus, on January 22, 2025.
The primary objective of this collaboration is to foster academic cooperation in the development of innovative and environmentally friendly fire protection technologies and products. This includes knowledge exchange in innovation and technology production through research based on each party’s expertise, as well as personnel development and joint study visits. Both GEEI and FEP are leaders in fire safety innovation, particularly in high-quality firefighting foams. Through this partnership, the involved parties aim to develop advanced fire suppression technologies that safeguard human lives and property while being environmentally friendly. In the future, these innovations may replace conventional firefighting foams containing harmful substances linked to global warming and health risks for firefighters, ensuring wider adoption in Thailand.
