Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), along with the university’s executive team, visited the Faculty of Rail Systems and Transportation at the Nong Rawiang Learning Center, Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUTI) in Nakhon Ratchasima.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr.Rabil Ponpai, Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Relations, and Assoc. Prof. Dr.Apichit Kamphala, Dean of the Faculty of Rail Systems and Transportation. During the visit, the RMUTP team toured the rail systems training building and the Smart Railway Laboratory, gaining insights into railway system education and practical training facilities.
During the visit, railway system experts presented various key components of railway operations, including the station control room, railway access control system, automated fare collection system, automatic platform screen doors, passenger information system, multimedia systems in railway stations, Smart Railway network, Station Control System, and security systems.
Additionally, the delegation observed a hands-on demonstration of the Avionics Training System for train driver training. RMUTP executives had the opportunity to practice train driving and engaged in discussions on management strategies and best practices with their counterparts.
