Statistics plays a pivotal role as a decision-making tool. Employing statistical analysis in planning and decision-making helps mitigate risks of errors in operations. It is crucial across all fields of study. However, with the rapid advancement of technology, the volume of information has increased substantially. Organizations equipped with good information benefit from enhanced efficiency in planning and swift, accurate decision-making. Therefore, to augment operational efficiency, personnel within organizations need a strong foundation in statistics. They should be adept in data analytics and proficiently apply statistical information. Consequently, the Faculty of Science and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon has developed a new curriculum: a Bachelor of Science program in Information Statistics (B.Sc. Information Statistics) in the academic year 2023. The program aims to produce graduates with statistical data analysis skills and the ability to integrate their knowledge with information technology across various disciplines. This preparation is to be used in professional fields, contributing to sustainable national development amid the changing global landscape. The curriculum spans a four-year undergraduate program and is open to high school graduates from all curricula or vocational certificate holders or their equivalent.
