The increasing complexity and severity of environmental issues, particularly climate change, have led to widespread impacts on ecosystems, economies, and societies worldwide. Existing scientific knowledge and technology alone are insufficient to address emerging environmental challenges effectively. Therefore, it is crucial to develop professionals with integrated knowledge focused on climate and environmental management and planning.
Recognizing the evolving job market driven by technological advancements and social changes, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) has introduced Thailand’s first Bachelor of Science Program in Climate and Environmental Management under the Faculty of Science and Technology**. This program aims to equip graduates with the expertise needed to tackle climate-related challenges and drive sustainable solutions in various industries.
RMUTP Introduces Thailand’s First Climate and Environmental Management Program. Asst. Prof. Pennapa Suwanbamrung, Dean of RMUTP’s Faculty of Science and Technology, stated that the program aims to equip graduates with essential skills in climate adaptation, waste management, greenhouse gas reduction, and clean technology innovation. It supports sustainable development goals (SDGs) and enhances Thailand’s competitiveness while improving long-term quality of life.
RMUTP’s Climate and Environmental Management Program Focuses on Practical Learning.
