Assistant Professor Dr. Rungarun Phetrattanakun, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, revealed that the faculty had been invited to demonstrate training in automatic systems and robotics at the ‘Skill Expo Thailand 2022: Developing towards the New Era, 5th Edition’ held from February 8th to 11th, 2023, at Impact, Muang Thong Thani, Hall 7. The event was organized by the Department of Skill Development, with Mr. Sutat Chamklon, Minister of Labor, presiding over the opening ceremony. The objective was to promote skill development activities for employers and students interested in entering the field of automation and robotics.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Education, RMUTP, presented the ‘Station Automation Training set for iioT with 6DOFs Kuka Robotics, Vision, SCADA, and ERP,’ utilized for teaching in the industrial bachelor’s degree program. Dr. Wichcha Upphai, Dr. Peeraphat Ovatchaipong, and Mr. Kamolphop Miepan served as lecturers, imparting knowledge about automation and robotics to interested businesses and students attending the event.
During this opportunity, Mr. Sutat Chamklon, Minister of Labor, and the faculty observed the demonstration of automation and robotics systems. The Faculty suggested opening training courses specifically focused on developing skills in automation and robotics for interested laborers, aiming to enhance their capabilities to meet the rapidly expanding industrial demands.
