The Faculty of Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) welcomed the Public Health Committee, the House of Representatives to study and tour the Medical cannabis plant, which has been certified for standards in cultivation, harvesting, and initial processing of medical cannabis plants that passed the Certification of Good Agricultural and Collection Practices: GACP. The visit included a summary briefing on operations related to the study, research, and development of cannabis strains to elevate medical standards. The tour was led by Asst. Prof. Pennapa Suwanbamrung Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology and Dr. Paisan Kanthang, a lecturer in the Faculty of Science and Technology and head of the research project. The visit took place on May 8, 2024, at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (North Bangkok Campus).
