The Faculty of Engineering, RMUTP held an academic conference on sustainable development in the industry.

Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) by the Faculty of Engineering organized the 9th Rajamangala Manufacturing & Management Technology Conference 2024 (RMTC 2024) in collaboration with the Association of Rajamangala Network of Manufacturing and Management Technology (RNMT). The conference, themed ‘Manufacturing and Management Technology towards Sustainability in Industry,’ was held from May 1st to 3rd May, 2024, at the Heritance Chiang Rai Hotel and Convention. The opening ceremony was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nattachote Rugthaicharoencheep, Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Faculty Development of RMUTP presiding over the ceremony, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anin Memon, President of the Association of Rajamangala Network of Manufacturing and Management Technology (RNMT) welcoming speech.

The concept of technology in manufacturing and management towards sustainability in the industry comprises three dimensions: economic, societal quality of life, and environmental. Each dimension is significantly linked to the industrial sector. The event served as a platform for exchanging various information, research findings, and creative works in the fields of engineering technology, manufacturing, and management. Additionally, it facilitated networking among researchers. This year, over 188 research papers were presented. Moreover, there was presentation on topic “The Opportunities and Challenges of Metal Manufacturing Technology for the Circular Economy” by Assoc. Prof. Dr.Chaowalit Limmaneevichitr, Department of Industrial Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, and special presentation on topic “The Sustainable Application of Thai Mineral Nanomaterials and Small-Scale Air Bubble Technology in Water” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sorapong Pavasupree, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT).
