RMUTP participates in the screening of UBI entrepreneurs in the Lower Central Region for submission to the Subcommittee of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) for the years 2025–2026.

On May 1, 2025, the Business Incubation Development Unit under the Office of Research and Development, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, led by Asst. Prof. Dr.Chantana Papattha, Deputy Director of Institute of Research and Development, along with staff members, brought student entrepreneurs to participate in the screening process for the University Business Incubator (UBI) entrepreneurs within the Lower Central Region Higher Education Network for the 2025–2026 fiscal year (2nd screening, 5-month cycle). The evaluation was conducted by a committee from the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) at Sakthip Khairerk Meeting Room, Chalermprakiat 80th Anniversary Building, Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep.

This UBI entrepreneur screening is organized by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, MHESI, to promote and support the application of research outcomes, intellectual property, inventions, and innovations. The initiative aims to sustainably foster entrepreneurship by developing entrepreneurs in the form of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), enhancing value creation through technology and innovation, advancing commercialization, and equipping businesses to adapt to changing circumstances, while targeting both regional and global markets.

As part of the UBI entrepreneur screening in the Lower Central Region Network, seven student entrepreneur teams from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon participated—six at the Pre-Incubation level and one at the Startup Incubation level. Pre-Incubation teams included:

  • Green & Grains – healthy bread from asparagus
  • Luvember – air fresheners
  • Bubble Bites – shampoo tablets
  • VEGA – fashion rental & upcycling
  • Natural Care – pomelo peel hand gel (all from the Faculty of Business Administration)
  • Neri – designer bags (Faculty of Architecture and Design)
    The Startup team, Yung Mo (Faculty of Science and Technology), presented an Art Toy product.

This participation highlights the university’s commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs and transforming knowledge and innovation into sustainable businesses ready for commercialization.
