RMUTP joins the opening ceremony of BKK EXPO 2025: A City of Efficiency, People Shaping the Future

On May 15, 2025, Asst. Prof. Sattha Khaengpenkhae, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, in his capacity as a member of the Steering Committee for Participatory Urban Development in Bangkok (Dusit District Subcommittee), attended the opening ceremony of the BKK EXPO 2025.

The event was presided over by Mr.Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, and was held from May 15–18, 2025, at the Benjakitti Forest Park Museum Building in Khlong Toei District. The expo emphasizes sustainable urban development through cross-sector collaboration and the integration of policy and technology for efficient city management.

This year, Bangkok Expo 2025 is held under the theme “We Work, BKK Works: A City of Efficiency, People Shaping the Future”, featuring exhibitions and activities highlighting the city’s development over the past three years. The event includes exhibitions, panel discussions, workshops, a wide variety of food stalls from all 50 districts of Bangkok, and vocational training activities.

A highlight of the Dusit District Subcommittee’s booth was the exhibition and activity titled “Leisurely Walks and River Journeys: Discovering the Charm of Dusit”, which showcases multicultural tourism routes aimed at promoting and supporting the local economy. The two featured routes are:

  1. Walking Tour – exploring communities and historical landmarks such as Wat Devaraj Kunchorn, while learning about local lifestyles and culture.

Boat Tour – enjoying the scenic beauty along the Samsen Canal, linking key landmarks in the Dusit district.
