Engineering Students Win 2 Awards in Robotics and Automation 4.0 Competition

Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) is pleased to congratulate the students of the Faculty of Engineering for receiving awards at the 4th Robot Control and Automation Competition with Industry 4.0 Technology, competing for the Royal Trophy of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, organized by the Office of the Vocational Education Commission in collaboration with six vocational institutes. The competition results are as follows:

  • Mr.Uthis Panthamit and Mr.Chaiphat Saiprasart won 1st Runner-Up with a score of 90/100 (Gold Medal) in Category 4: Design and Manufacturing of Components Using CAD/CAM Programs.
  • Mr.Weerachai Traichomphu and Mr.Paphakorn Pluembun won 1st Runner-Up with a score of 250/260 (Gold Medal) in Category 6: Virtual Industrial Plant Construction.
  • Ms.Paweenuch Boonprakrong and Mr.Teerawat Purahong achieved the 3rd Highest Score in the Final Round in Virtual Plant Design Using Emulate3D Software.
  • Ms. Oraphan Piwnuan and Ms. Natcha Changlom achieved the 3rd Highest Score in the Theoretical Test Category of Category 7: Electrical System Inspection for Electric Vehicles (both theory and practical).

This competition served as a significant platform for students to demonstrate their knowledge, practical skills, and advanced competencies. It promotes effective teaching and learning, enhances essential skills, and provides an important opportunity to showcase advancements in Industry 4.0 technology through robotics and automation — key elements driving Thailand’s industrial development toward the future. The event was held at Hall EH 99, BITEC Bangna, from October 15–17, 2025.
