
A working group from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), led by Dr.Khomkhate Pedcharat, Vice President, along with university executives including Assistants to the President: Dr.Kongkiat Maha-in, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Warin Sootkaneung, Asst. Prof. Dr.Nerisa Chaisupamangkollarp, Dr.Putipong Lakachaiworakun, and Miss Napapach Thirapattanapokin; Asst. Prof. Dr.Pracha Pijukkana, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design; Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapong Phanthuna, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; and faculty members from the Faculty of Industrial Education, the Faculty of Science and Technology, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Architecture and Design, participated in a study visit.
The study visit, themed Smart Community and Comprehensive Waste Management: Moving Towards a Sustainable City,” took place on January 13, 2026, at the Phop Suk Village Community Waste Recycling Center, Bang Talat Subdistrict, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province.
Mr. Anek Homhwan served as a guest speaker, providing knowledge on systematic community waste management guidelines. He also led the executive team on a tour of the organic and recyclable waste separation processes and the use of food waste shredders to reduce waste volume and create added value. Furthermore, the team learned about the Circular Economy concept and the Bio-digester system, a sustainable waste management technology, presented by Captain Adisorn Prangsam Yotprasert, who also served as a guest speaker.
The objective of this visit was to apply the acquired knowledge and guidelines to further develop various university research areas and to sustainably manage the environment within the university in the future.
