Celebrating its 21st Anniversary, RMUTP Hosts Foundation Day and Awards Outstanding Individuals, University Benefactors, and Distinguished Alumni for 2025
The Foundation Day of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) falls on January 18th of every year. This year, the university hosted the celebration under the theme RMUTP 21 Years “Keep Going, Be All In.” During the opening ceremony, Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, Acting President, stated that as RMUTP steps into its 3rd decade on its 21st anniversary, it stands firm in its role as a higher education institution under the vision: “RMUTP: A University of Technology, Innovation, and Integration.” The university remains focused on producing graduates who embody its identity: “Hands-on graduates, eager to learn, persevering, technologically proficient, and virtuous.”

Over the past several years, the university has continuously developed and improved its administrative systems and established new units to align with the changing global social context. It has also advanced its academic affairs and curricula to meet the demands of the industrial sector, emphasizing both theoretical and practical learning to ensure students gain hands-on experience. Furthermore, RMUTP has broadened educational opportunities, allowing all groups of people to access high-quality, standardized knowledge through Upskill and Reskill programs. Learners can now accumulate their credits via the officially launched Credit Bank system. Looking ahead, RMUTP has set three primary goals. First, to drive the institution toward becoming a globally recognized technological university renowned for creating innovations for urban well-being. This involves elevating education to foster a modern urban society to accommodate urban expansion. Second, to elevate the university to international standards, with the goal of ranking among the Top 1,000 universities globally, the Top 200 in Asia, and the Top 50 in Thailand. Finally, the university aims to generate its own revenue exceeding the state budget allocation, increasing its accumulated funds every year to prepare for the transition into an autonomous university.
“All of these goals cannot be achieved without the collective strength of the entire RMUTP team. Therefore, I am determined to build an organization of happiness that everyone can be proud of—a space for learning, working, and growing together. Our family will move forward with the concept ‘Keep Going, Be All In.’ Together, we will clear away obstacles, carry forward the good foundations we have built, and create new things for a better future,” Dr.Natworapol concluded.
The ceremony also featured the presentation of plaques and certificates of honor to outstanding individuals, university benefactors, and distinguished alumni for the year 2025. Additionally, commemorative pins were awarded to honor newly appointed Associate Professors and athletes who have brought recognition to the university. These awards aim to recognize, praise, and boost the morale of university personnel, alumni, and external contributors. The recipients include:
