RMUTP Expands Global Footprint, Strengthening Alliances to Drive Educational Excellence

BANGKOK, January 19, 2026 – Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) officially launched the “RMUTP International Partnership Week 2026,” held from January 19–21, 2026. The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul Acting President of RMUTP, at the Chotiwet Meeting Room, Faculty of Home Economics Technology, Chotiwet Campus.

The primary objective of this initiative is to fortify relationships with overseas academic institutions and foster collaborations that elevate RMUTP’s educational standards to an international level. The program emphasizes the exchange of experiences and cultures, global networking, and the promotion of high-quality research on a global stage. This year’s event attracted 30 representatives from 18 prestigious institutions across 6 countries, including:

  • Edith Cowan University (Australia)
  • International House Vancouver (Canada)
  • National University of Laos (Laos)
  • National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (Taiwan)
  • Nanning Vocational and Technical University (China)
  • International College of Management Sydney (Australia)

Highlight Activities and Strategic Collaborations

The event featured a series of high-impact activities, notably the international panel discussion titled “Beyond Borders: Universities and Careers in the Age of AI Disruption.” The program also included “Partnership Matching” sessions between RMUTP faculties and foreign universities to discuss future academic joint ventures.

A significant milestone of the event was the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between RMUTP and four leading international organizations:

  1. Edith Cowan University (Australia)
  2. Shanghai Jiao Tong University (P.R. China)
  3. Linyi Electric Power School (China)
  4. SentroSecure Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia)

Showcasing Innovation and Thai Culture

Participants explored RMUTP’s cutting-edge facilities at the North Bangkok Center, including the Institute of Digital Interdisciplinary and Robotics and the Thai Gems, Jewelry, and Design Institute. They also visited the Medical Cannabis Plantation managed by the Faculty of Science and Technology.

To conclude the program, the international delegation experienced the richness of Thai arts and culture through a guided tour of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA BANGKOK).
