RMUTP Equips Staff and Students with Essential Firefighting and Life-Saving Skill

On January 30, 2026 – Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), led by the General Affairs Division, organized a practical workshop titled the “2026 Fire Prevention and Suppression Plan.” The opening ceremony was honorably presided over by Dr.Manthana Tiawongsuwan, Vice President of RMUTP.

The event was attended by 278 staff members. The primary objective was to enhance their knowledge and understanding of fire prevention and suppression, as well as to equip them with the essential skills to effectively handle and resolve immediate emergency situations.

During the workshop, a team of expert instructors from the Samsen Fire Station shared comprehensive knowledge on basic firefighting, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and fire evacuation procedures.

Additionally, the event featured hands-on practical sessions. Participants practiced basic firefighting using low-pressure water mist fire extinguishers and learned life-saving techniques utilizing an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), guided by specialists from De Sea Medical Training and Supply Co., Ltd. The training was successfully held at the D-Hall Auditorium, RMUTP Thewet Campus.
