On February 3, 2026 – Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, Acting President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mr.Ted Poshakrishna Thirapat, Managing Director of Graphene Creations Co., Ltd. The signing ceremony took place at Rapheephat conference room, 3rd Floor, Rapeepatthanasak Building, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Thewet campus.
The MoU outlines three primary objectives for this collaboration:
1. Research and Development of Functionalized Graphene: To enhance the potential and properties of graphene for practical use, as well as to promote and develop graphene-related research projects across various fields.
2. Development of Graphene-based Battery Cells: To innovate the fabrication of battery cells incorporating graphene, aiming to transfer the resulting knowledge and technology from research directly into industrial applications.
3. Advancement of Graphene for Electronics: To jointly develop graphene for electronic devices and explore other potential applications as mutually agreed upon through collaborative research. Dr.Natworapol stated that RMUTP and Graphene Creations Co., Ltd. have already been engaged in joint research projects for some time. He emphasized that the university’s core mission is to develop a skilled workforce and generate new knowledge, which is primarily driven by research. Undertaking graphene-related research aligns perfectly with the expertise of the Faculty of Science and Technology, recognized as a pioneer in emerging technologies. This collaboration is expected to yield diverse and impactful research outcomes that will ultimately be utilized to benefit the industrial sector.
