RMUTP Unveils 14th Strategic Plan to Drive Future Organizational Transformation

Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) recently hosted the “RMUTP Strategic Transformation” seminar to roll out its 14th University Development Plan (2027-2030). The event, held on July 13, 2026, aimed to align the university’s operations and personnel with its new strategic direction.

In his opening remarks, Lieutenant General Chainarong Kitrungrojcharoen, Vice President of the University Council, Chairman of the University Council, emphasized the urgent need for digital adaptation, technological integration, and workforce upskilling to keep pace with rapid global changes.

Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of RMUTP, outlined the university’s vision to become a leading international technology university renowned for urban well-being innovations by 2030. To address global challenges such as shifting demographics and urbanization, the President detailed four core driving strategies:

– Empowering Future Graduates: Implementing Digital Skill Passports and competency certifications to close the skill gap, fostering industry-ready professionals and innovative entrepreneurs.

– Advancing National Research and Innovation: Transforming academic research into commercialized innovations that generate practical economic and social impact for the country.

– Promoting Urban Well-being: Actively participating in solving urban challenges by developing and deploying sustainable innovations to improve public quality of life.

– Elevating Internationalization: Expanding global partnerships through joint degrees, international programs, academic exchanges, and collaborative global research. Dr.Natworapol concluded that the next four years are a critical transitional period. “This 14th strategic plan serves as our compass, and policy is our engine, but RMUTP personnel are the true driving force,” he stated.
