The merit-making ceremony took place at Wat Rachathiwat Wihan in the Dusit District of Bangkok.

The annual initiative aims to preserve the sacred tradition of offering Buddhist Lent candles, cultivate a deep appreciation for the conservation of Thai cultural heritage, and encourage the practical application of Buddhist teachings in daily life. This year, the offered Lent candles were exquisitely crafted and decorated by the Faculty of Home Economics Technology. Phra Phrom Vachiramongkol (Luechai Kunawuddho), the Abbot of Wat Rachathiwat Wihan, presided over the monastic rites to receive the candles, religious offerings, and a financial donation of 9,400 baht toward the temple’s maintenance fund.
