Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) congratulates the students from the Faculty of Engineering for winning 9 awards at the 15th National Rajamangala Engineering Academic Contest, held from August 1st to 3rd, 2024, at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, Wang Klai Kangwon Campus. The awards include two first-place prizes: one for designing and developing an IoT system to create innovations that connect to community farms, and another in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) competition, both won by Mechatronics Engineering students.
Additionally, the Mechatronics Engineering students won four first runner-up awards in the categories of Industrial Automation Control Systems, Autonomous Mobile Robots with Vision Systems, Motor Control Cabinet Design and Installation using PLC, and Microstrip Antenna Design for 5G Frequency for IoT Devices. The Mechatronics Engineering students also won a second runner-up award in the IIoT competition. Civil Engineering students won a second runner-up award in the Building Information Modeling (BIM) competition, and Mechanical Engineering students received a second runner-up award in the Science and Technology category of the Cooperative Education Project Competition. This event served as a platform to showcase the professional skills and potential of students from all nine Rajamangala universities, as well as an opportunity for academic knowledge exchange.
