
BANGKOK, March 13, 2026 – His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun graciously appointed Mr.Kasem Wattanachai, Privy Councilor, as the Royal Representative to preside over the Commencement Ceremony for graduates of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) for the Academic Year 2024. The ceremony was held at the Fuang Nuea Conference Room, RMUTP North Bangkok Center.
Upon arrival, the Royal Representative was received by Lieutenant General Chainarong Kitrungrojcharoen, Vice President of the University Council; Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of RMUTP; along with university executives, representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, staff, and students. During the ceremony, Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabulpresented six distinguished individuals to receive honorary degrees in recognition of their outstanding contributions and expertise:


- Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration: Ms.Wilawan Kaewkanokvijit, Mr.Somboon Aueatchasai, Mr.Chulin Rungsisingpipat, and Mr.Supanut Limtongkao.
- Honorary Master of Home Economics: Ms.hirada Ekkaewnamchai.
- Honorary Master of Business Administration and Honorary Bachelor of Technology (Textile Innovation and Technology): Mr.Thanakorn Sodsai.
For the Academic Year 2024, a total of 2,293 graduates successfully completed their studies at the Doctoral, Master’s, and Bachelor’s levels across various faculties, including Industrial Education, Home Economics Technology, Mass Communication Technology, Business Administration, Science and Technology, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Textile Industry and Fashion Design, Architecture and Design, and the College of Government Management.
Following the ceremony, Mr.Kasem Wattanachai delivered a Royal Citation and words of advice to the graduates, emphasizing the true essence of being a “Graduated Intellectual” (Pandit):
“A graduate is known as one who possesses wisdom. This wisdom arises from three forms of learning: learning from the knowledge and thoughts of others, learning through one’s own critical reflection, and learning through consistent practice and training. Only then can one achieve true and comprehensive knowledge. I urge all graduates to continuously cultivate your wisdom through lifelong learning. By doing so, you will become true graduates who can apply your intellect to benefit yourselves and the nation.” The ceremony concluded with a sense of pride and achievement, marking a successful transition for the new graduates into their professional careers.
