RMUTP sweeps the championship trophy of the 14th RMUT Thai Cultural Conservation Event

Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, the President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) along with Asst. Prof. Sattha Khaengpenkhae, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs, leads a team of students in the opening ceremony of the practical seminar to develop the quality assurance network of student activities of the 9 Rajamangala University of Technology (RMUT) and the 14thRMUT Thai Cultural Conservation Event organized by Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi  (RMUTSB) from April 4th to 7th April 2024 at RMUTSB and Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan, Ayutthaya Province, under the concept of “Ayutthaya World Heritage: Reviving Beautiful Arts of Suvarnabhumi” with administrators from all 9 RMUT participating in the opening ceremony alongside lecturers, staff, and cultural ambassadors, who were honored by Mr. Prapan Treebubpha, Deputy Governor of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, as the project’s opening chairman on April 5th,2024.

During the event, RMUTP students gained recognition by winning 3 championship trophies and 1 first runner-up trophy. The championship trophies were awarded to Mr. Phatthana Netanong, a student of the Faculty of Home Economics Technology, for winning the solo male country music singing competition, and to Ms. Atchariya Jindawong, a student of the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology, for winning the solo female country music singing competition. The championship trophy for the presentation competition on the application of the PDCA improvement cycle in student activities under the theme ‘Volunteer Innovator’, a representative from the Student Council and Student Organizations of RMUTP was awarded from Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation) while the first runner-up trophy in the team country music singing competition (singers with instruments) was awarded to the RMUTP country music team, receiving the trophy from the Governor of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.

This event provided a platform for cultural ambassador students from the 9 RMUT to showcase their unique identities, skills, creativity, and cultural performance talents, including valuable local arts and crafts, aiming to promote and preserve Thai culture for attendees and the general public to appreciate.”
