
Asst. Prof. Dr.Prin Boonkanit, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), presided over the opening ceremony of the AI and Intelligent Robotics Innovation Entrepreneur Incubator Camp (Activity 4). This event is part of the university’s Fiscal Year 2026 initiative to advance technology-focused education and promote innovations that address national challenges. Organized by the Institute of Research and Development and the Institute of Digital Interdisciplinary and Robotics, the “Pitching & Demo Day & Roadshow” (Sub-activity 4.4) was held on August 4, 2026, at the Mongkol Apha Meeting Room, Faculty of Business Administration, RMUTP Thewet Campus.
The event featured inspirational keynote sessions from distinguished guest speakers. Vet. Pannawat Pongkittirak, Executive of Pet Theenee Corporation Co., Ltd., presented on the topic “Unlocking the Future with AI: Lessons from Shark Tank to Startup.” Dr.Treechit Merarattanachot, Chairman of Phakdee Co., Ltd. and Founder of Promsap Agency, shared insights on “Shaping Dreams into Businesses: Thinking Like a Startup, Developing Innovation Models, and Pitching for Funding.”
The program included a Roadshow Exhibition for knowledge exchange and a Pitching & Coaching Demo Day business plan competition. Five teams comprising students from the Faculties of Engineering, Science and Technology, Architecture and Design, Mass Communication Technology, and Business Administration participated. The competition results were as follows:
- Winner: Team SIGN2SOUND (Mini AAC) for creating a portable device that translates sign language into speech for seamless communication.
- 1st Runner-up: Team PIUP E Nose for developing an AI-powered odor quality detection innovation with laboratory-level accuracy.
- 2nd Runner-up: Team BUDDY BOT for designing an innovative educational learning assistant for early childhood.
- Honorable Mentions: Team Rasamee Care for a 24-hour smart elderly care system that prioritizes user privacy, and Team IOT Fall Detection for an IoT-networked fall detection system.
This project is a vital component in driving RMUTP’s strategic vision as a Group 2 higher education institution dedicated to technological development. It aims to elevate students from knowledge learners to proactive innovators equipped to launch successful startup enterprises in the future.
