Lieutenant General Chainarong Kitrungrojcharoen, Vice President of the University Council of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), presided over the opening ceremony of the RMUTP Volunteer Bamboo Planting activity. The event was organized to make merit and dedicate royal charity in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, in celebration of National Mother’s Day 2026. Dr.Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of RMUTP, along with university executives, staff, students, and local community leaders of the Chom Thong district, actively participated in the event on August 8, 2026, at the RMUTP Chom Thong Center (Saraphi-Wanna Memorial).
The activity was held to express profound gratitude for Her Majesty’s lifelong benevolence and to encourage university personnel, students, and the public to demonstrate their unwavering loyalty to the monarchy. Additionally, the event aimed to cultivate a strong sense of awareness regarding the conservation of natural resources and the environment.
This initiative aligns perfectly with the vision of Ms. Panadda Suwannanon, the benefactor who generously donated the land in the Chom Thong area to the university. Her intention was for the area to be developed into a vibrant green space and an active learning center for natural resources and the environment, which will continually serve as a valuable area for teaching, research, academic services, and future corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.
