In 2026, RMUTP implemented 12 sustainability-related programs and activities with international collaborations. These included RMUTP International Partnership Week 2026, international dialogue, faculty-level academic matching, research exhibitions, study visits, cultural exchange activities, international MOUs, EV-related innovation cooperation, and the development of the WISE international graduate program. 1. Project Participation in the Student Activity Network of Nine Institutions for Graduate Quality Development
Students participating in this project developed desirable graduate attributes, social skills, academic skills, language skills, computer technology skills, and digital media literacy. The project aimed to enhance students’ capacity for self-development and enable them to apply the knowledge, skills, and experiences gained from the training effectively in their studies and daily lives.
2. Project Participation in the Workshop Seminar for Developing the Student Activity Quality Assurance Network of the Nine Rajamangala Universities of Technology and the 15th “Nine Rajamangala Universities United to Preserve Thai Culture” Activity
Students participating in this project established a collaborative network for quality assurance in student activities among the nine Rajamangala Universities of Technology. The activity also promoted the preservation and dissemination of Thai arts and cultural performances, provided opportunities for students to exchange knowledge on contemporary Thai arts and culture, and strengthened good relationships among the participating universities.
3. Project Participation in the 23rd Higher Education Arts and Culture Event
Students participating in this project developed collaborative networks in arts and culture among universities. The activity promoted the preservation and dissemination of arts and cultural performances, provided opportunities for participants to exchange knowledge and experiences, and strengthened relationships with other universities.
4. RMUTP Student Development Project: The Best and The Bright Student “RMUTP Young Generation”
Students participating in this project developed desirable attributes, social skills, academic skills, language skills, computer technology skills, and digital media literacy. The project aimed to enhance students’ capacity for self-development and enable them to apply the knowledge, skills, and experiences gained from the training effectively in their studies and daily lives.
5. Architecture and Design Skills Competition Project: Ban Wat Makluea Community, Khlong Yong Subdistrict, Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province
Third-year students from the Architecture Program, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), led by Lecturer Nopphadol Klaiwiset, participated in the Architecture and Design Skills Competition Project at Ban Wat Makluea Community, Khlong Yong Subdistrict, Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province.
The project was organized by Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin in collaboration with Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi. The activity provided students with opportunities to apply architectural and design knowledge in a real community context, develop practical design skills, and exchange learning experiences with students from other universities.
6. Participation in the Design Competition under the Culture Smart City: Songkhla Old Town Project
Third-year students from the Architecture Program, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), received an award in the design competition for a prototype creative activity space for young people in Songkhla Old Town.
The competition was held under the Culture Smart City: Songkhla Old Town project, which aimed to develop Songkhla Old Town as a model city for arts and cultural development. The event took place at Rong Si Daeng and was organized by Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya.
This activity provided students with an opportunity to apply architectural design knowledge to cultural urban development, creative space design, and the revitalization of historic communities.
7. Participation in the Lamp Design Competition Based on the Concept of Environmental Design (Eco Design)
Asian Design House Co., Ltd., the designer and manufacturer of lighting products under the Othentique brand, provided an opportunity for students from the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), to submit their works to a lamp design competition based on the concept of environmental design, or Eco Design.
The activity was warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pracha Pijakkana, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, together with the faculty’s executive team.
The project received a large number of design submissions from students. The judging committee carefully reviewed the entries based on the established criteria, together with votes from the faculty executives and expert committee members from Asian Design House Co., Ltd. The award presentation was honored by Mr. Kornkot Ekthanoot, Managing Director, and Mr. Chaiphruek Thongcham, designer from the Design Team of Asian Design House Co., Ltd.
The award ceremony was held at Room 631, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Thewet Campus.
This activity encouraged students to apply design knowledge to environmentally responsible product development and promoted awareness of sustainable design principles through practical learning and industry collaboration.
8. Faculty of Industrial Education, RMUTP, Leads Graduate Diploma Teacher Profession Students in a Field-Based Workshop Seminar on “Community Relationship-Building Strategies” to Develop a New Generation of Teachers as “Community Innovators” in Accordance with Professional Standards
The Faculty of Industrial Education, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), continues to enhance the quality of Thai teachers by organizing a workshop seminar and field study for students in the Graduate Diploma Program in Teaching Profession. The activity was conducted as part of the course “Strategies for Building Relationships between Educational Institutions and Communities.” It aimed to provide students with practical experience in building collaborative networks and understanding community contexts in accordance with the Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education.
This activity adopted an active learning approach by integrating classroom knowledge with real-world practice. The main objective was to enable student teachers to design collaborative activities with parents and communities. This aligns with the program learning outcomes, which aim to develop teachers as innovators based on research and professional learning communities.
Dr. Thiti Tharasuk, the course instructor, and Dr. Sakolwan Parueang, the project advisor, stated that the essence of this course is not limited to theoretical learning in the classroom. Rather, it emphasizes students’ direct engagement with real community psychology and cultural contexts, as described in the course syllabus. The
project aims to equip future teachers with tools and strategies to build strong relationships among homes, temples, schools, and communities, ultimately supporting quality learning for students in the future.
The workshop and field activities were filled with active participation and enthusiasm. Students took part in group relationship-building activities, knowledge exchange, and leadership and teamwork skill development. The activities covered the following key areas:
- Community Context Study: Field visits to observe and understand local ways of life, cultural diversity, and community wisdom.
- Network Building: Simulated situations and practical exercises in creating cooperation with community leaders and parents.
- Seminar and Brainstorming: Synthesis of knowledge gained from fieldwork to develop activity models that promote sustainable relationships between schools and communities.
The success of this activity reflects the commitment of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rungaroon Porncharoen, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education, RMUTP, to producing professional teachers who are not only skilled in teaching but also capable of becoming “teacher-developers.” These teachers are expected to be able to summarize collaborative work with communities and build meaningful relationships that support the development of themselves and their learners. The activity helps prepare future teachers to become high-quality educators who truly understand society and are ready to contribute to national development.
9.Environmental Conservation Club Organizes the Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation Club Activity for Academic Year 2025
The Environmental Conservation Club, under the Student Affairs Division, organized the Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation Club Activity for Academic Year 2025. The activity was divided into two main components.
The first activity consisted of a training session on “Botany for Sustainable Development” and a mangrove planting activity. The objectives were to raise students’ awareness of the importance of participating in the conservation of natural resources and the environment in various fields, as well as to encourage students to develop volunteer spirit and social responsibility.
The activity was honored by the participation of Ms. Sathita Chansuwan, Miss Earth Water Thailand 2025, together with a team of guest speakers from the Army Nature Education Center, Bang Pu, who served as resource persons. The activity was attended by Asst. Prof. Anusorn Jaithon, Lecturer Ampawan Yansen, faculty members, and students from the Applied Home Economics Program. Lecturer Supphasit Warasin served as the club advisor.
The activity was held on 23 December 2025 at the Army Nature Education Center, Bang Pu. Participants also visited the Botanical Hall at the Plant Museum, Suan Luang Rama IX Park.
The second activity was a tree planting activity within the faculty area. The selected plant species were those with educational value for the field of home economics, including medicinal plants, spice plants, and plants used for cooking and craftwork. This activity aimed to systematically enhance students’ knowledge, understanding, and environmental skills, while also fostering awareness and responsibility for the conservation of natural resources and the environment.
10. Environmental Students Organize the “Waste Returns Value, Flowers Return Kindness” Project
Students from the Environmental Science and Technology Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, organized a project titled “Waste Returns Value, Flowers Return Kindness.” The project was led by Ms. Prakaiwan Songmueang and the project team, consisting of first-year and second-year students. The activity was supervised by Dr. Phattrika Soongsombat, Head of the Environmental Science and Technology Program, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Duangruthai Nikhomrat, who provided guidance until the project was completed.
The project was organized with the objectives of developing students’ academic skills and integrating knowledge from courses related to arts and culture. This integration led to the creation of works that benefit society and local communities, while also raising public awareness of the importance of environmental conservation.
As part of the project, the students created artificial flowers from waste materials and presented them to Wat Nakhon In on Tuesday, 23 September 2025. This activity contributed to public service for the community in the field of environmental awareness and helped strengthen the relationship between the university and the local community.
11.Student Club of the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology, RMUTP, Organizes Phase 2 of the Plant Genetic Conservation Awareness Project
On 28 November 2025, the Student Club of the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), organized Phase 2 of the Plant Genetic Conservation Awareness Project.
Asst. Prof. Chan Dechatsawanong, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, together with staff members and students, visited Pipit Banglamphu Museum to study the Banglamphu community in terms of its history, community context, and the importance of local plant genetic resources in the area.
The project aimed to enable participants to produce creative knowledge-based media that can be disseminated to the public. It also sought to develop students’ skills in research, data analysis, and knowledge communication in creative forms suitable for target audiences.
This activity continued from Phase 1, which was held on 24 November 2025. Students applied the knowledge gained from the first-phase training during the field visit and produced video media as part of a
knowledge repository for the Faculty of Mass Communication Technology. The video materials are intended to serve as learning resources for those interested in the history and cultural context of the Banglamphu community.
The produced video media will also be submitted to Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon to support knowledge dissemination related to the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG).
12. Volunteer Activity: Cleaning the Temple Courtyard to Improve the Buddhist Site Landscape in Honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother
The Faculty of Architecture and Design organized a volunteer activity to clean the temple courtyard and improve the landscape of a Buddhist religious site in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, on the occasion of her birthday anniversary on 12 August 2025.
The activity was held at Wat Rachathiwat Ratchaworawihan. It aimed to promote volunteer spirit, public service, cultural and religious preservation, and appreciation of Buddhist heritage among students and staff.
13.Faculty of Industrial Textiles and Fashion Design, RMUTP, Presents “BIFW 2025: Visionary Stage @ Siam Center” Showcasing Future Fashion under the Concept of “Circular Economy”
On 9 October 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Textiles and Fashion Design, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), presented creative fashion works on the runway at Bangkok International Fashion Week 2025 (BIFW 2025) under the concept of “Circular Economy.”
The collection was inspired by the transformation of fashion waste and recycled materials into innovative fashion pieces. The works reflected identity through local wisdom and Thai craftsmanship, harmoniously combining traditional craft techniques with contemporary design.
The fashion show was honored by the participation of “Keng–Harit” and “Yoshi–Rinrada,” who joined the runway presentation and added vibrancy to the show. The activity was supported by the RMUTP Alumni Association and the Chumphon Khet Udomsak Alumni Club. The Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Textiles and Fashion Design, faculty members, staff, and students also attended to warmly support students from the Fashion and Textile Design Program.
This fashion showcase reflects the faculty’s commitment to advancing Thai fashion toward sustainability through the creativity and energy of the younger generation, who are ready to step onto the international stage.

These jobs are associated with environmental conservation, pollution control, waste and recycling, energy and electricity systems, renewable energy, electric vehicles, sustainable agriculture, bio-based industries, and natural resource-related sectors.

Impact of Eduaction and Research programs in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) demonstrates a very high impact in supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through its Education and Research programs. The university integrates sustainability principles into teaching and learning, research, innovation, community engagement, student activities, international collaboration, entrepreneurship, cultural preservation, and lifelong learning.
In 2026, RMUTP offered a broad range of sustainability-related study programs and courses across multiple disciplines, including environmental science and technology, engineering, energy, architecture and design, business, home economics, textile and fashion design, food and nutrition, communication technology, and applied social sciences. These programs equip students with professional knowledge and practical skills related to environmental protection, responsible production, climate action, green innovation, social responsibility, health and well-being, and sustainable community development.
RMUTP also supports sustainability research through research funding, academic projects, innovation development, and community-based research. Research and innovation activities address issues such as clean energy, waste utilization, circular economy, sustainable materials, food innovation, environmental management, digital technology, health and wellness, cultural heritage, and community enterprise development. These activities contribute directly to knowledge creation and practical solutions for sustainable development.
